I'm constantly using the infinite length center lines in sketches and it's annoying to create them every sketch so I wrote this macro. Now I select the plane or face that I want to sketch on in my model and I press the hot key. A sketch is created with horizontal and vertical infinite length center lines.

This macro automates the generation of multiple exported filetypes simultaneously. If a drawing is open and a 3D filetype is selected, the macro will generate data from whichever part/assembly is being referenced by the default view. The supported filetypes are PDF (2D for drawings but not 3D), eDrw (3D or 2D), STL, IGES, STEP, Parasolid, and Pack&go. You have the option of exporting individual files, a zip file, or creating a subfolder. The filenames can include various properties: Rev, Description, Date, or custom prefix/suffix.

Updated 2020-11-03...When originally written (with SW2008) this macro saved a part file copy of your original file, using the defeature tool to strip out all internal volumes. It then got the surface area of that defeatured part, inserted the surface area into the custom properties of the original file and then deleted the defeatured copy.Unfortunately the defeature tool no longer works that way and the API's are still not accessible (at least in all versions of SW up to and including 2018; the year I'm using).In order for the macro to function correctly you need to run the defeature tool at least once and save the settings...menu -> tools -> defeature...A side bar will open for the tool and you need to uncheck everything and make all the selection boxes blank (except for the store settings option on the last page).left side bar -> next -> next -> next -> wait -> next -> Check “Just store my settings for future use” -> OK (Tick)If they ever unlock the API's then I will most likely update the macro but until then there is no point.The temp file was originally being saved to and then deleted from the desktop but this has proven to be a bit sketchy in regards to user privileges... not it will save to and delte from the location of the open file. So as long as you have automated write ability to that folder then you are good to go.This macro will not work with surface models.If you have never run the defeature tool before the macro will flatten the file and most likely spit out the entire surface area including internals.

This macro allows to create output file in multiformats : - PDF, DWG, DXF for 2D - STEP, Parasolid for 3D It could also sort the files by typ (creating a subfolder per file typ). By default : files are stored into a library location (to be modified in the code) OR into the same folder than the active document OR path could be entered manually

Macro to Collapse the Feature Manager Design Tree. Designed to be added to a button in SW. Also included is a bmp image for the button. Collapses the Feature Manager for Parts, Assemblies and Drawing documents.

The macro will suppress the threads, Add a mate reference, Lower the image quality, and set the bom to document name instead of configuration name

Macro to save active document as eDrawings with all configurations/sheets in the same file depending on the type of active document. The file name will be same as the active document and eDrawings will be saved in the same location as the active document.
